This week is the last week of the half term. Can you believe how quickly it has gone? It's another busy week. I am looking forward to speaking to parents on Monday and Tuesday evening. On Tuesday the children are having individual photos taken and Wednesday is wear purple for polio day. This week we are revising the letters we have looked at so far and will be writing rules for Bonfire Night as well as thinking about the colours we should wear to be seen at night. In maths we are counting pumpkins and learning to work out 1 more and 1 less. We will also be making some delicious apples, dipped in chocolate and sprinkles. We will be hearing the story of Guy Fawkes, using straws and paper to make sparklers and collecting sticks to build a pretend bonfire as well as using pastels to make a bonfire night picture.
I hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable half term. If you go to a bonfire, please keep safe. We will see you back in school on Monday 6th November.
