This week the children have been talking about who lives in their house with them. They have been drawing pictures and writing about their families and pets.
They have also been practising their cutting skills be making their own face. They are getting better and better at using scissors and they are beginning to show some good pencil control too.
The children have also been practising to write their name in lots of different ways around the classroom.
The children have been busy practice their number formation this week. Our number of the week this week was three so they have been doing this in the sand, play dough, whiteboards and in their workbooks.
The children are still learning to share and take turns with the classroom resources. Mrs Bentley has been very proud of how well the children are developing these skills.

Next week we are using our number skills to order the numbers 0-5 and 0-10. We will be counting natural objects and also talking about what we are enjoying about being in school so far.
