We have had an egg-siting week as we finish off things in time for our Easter Break. We have spent some time focusing on the Story of Easter and its message of hope as we beginning to see the signs of Spring and the world coming back to life.

The children have all had an opportunity to learn a little about how hard it is to be a parent by looking after eggs. They have worked in groups and needed to make sure their eggs were safe and occupied at all times between them. We have had the best time making beds, houses and toys for our eggs. We also know now how tricky it is juggling work, playing while always making sure our eggs are safe. Needless to say we have had a couple of trips to the egg hospital but nothing some tape and felt couldn’t fix!

In Maths, we have been looking at ordering numbers from different starting points using numbers up to 1000!

We also have had an Easter Technology competition in school, winners will be announced shortly.

As we look towards next term, we will continue our theme of dinosaurs for a couple of weeks and I can’t quite believe our incredible Year 1 children are nearly ready to start their transition to Year 2. So, in the meantime, we wish you some lovely family time with plenty of time for stories, adventures and time to relax before we embark on the Summer term.

As always, thank you for all your support.
