Our Teddies Bears Picnic. The children have had a fun filled morning watching the netball and football matches, eating their ice lollies and having fun with the water.
The children have been enjoying their learning about Teddy Bears. Within Nursery we have been working on our numbers and phonic skills. The children have been discussing their favourite places to go for picnics and out for the day. The children have been sorting colours and seeing how many teddies fit on the bridge.
Inspirational Day
The children have been using their phonic skills this week. To write an invitation for their teddy bears, to invite them to our picnic.
This week the children have been busy, investigating and exploring how liquid turns into ice. The children have really enjoyed making their own ice lollies for the Teddy bear’s picnic.
Pirates and princesses day
Our Pirates and Princesses Day, the children have been on a treasure hunt for golden coins. The children used their skills to read the treasure map to found the coins and ordered them. They then found a box of treasure.
The children have been creating their favourite drinks this week and practicing their Welsh skills, Erin Hoff Ddiod? ( What’s you favourite drink? )
This week the children have been busy, exploring being pirates and finding the numbered treasure in the san. They have made their own pirates treasure maps to follow. We have been using our imagination and been on pirates boat sailing to an Island looking for treasure.
The children have been busy creating a display of Under the sea. We have been adding numbers together, the children have been finding the RWI sounds in the sand. We have looked at shapes and fixed the picture.
The children have been using and practicing Welsh while creating their favourite ice-cream.
Using our phonics skills, the children have been sounding out and blending to make words.
This week in P.E we have been practicing our balancing skills, by walking the plank and timing each other.
Drivers, sharks and the nature trail
The children have had a wonderful time on their school trip today. They have been excellent and enjoyed the different types of sea creatures.
We have been looking at recusing sea creatures and pollution in the sea. Nursery have been using their ICT skills this week.The children have explored been what they like doing on sunny days. We have been finding initial sounds of under the sea words. This week we have been using money and taking orders for ice creams.
In P.E we have been making and completing assault courses, practicing our balancing skills.
The children have had a great first week back. We have been learning about how to keep safe in the sun and what we like to do on sunny days.
