This week as part of our topic 'Let's Celebrate!' we have been celebrating King Charles 75th Birthday which was on 14th November.

We have been thinking of questions that we could ask him, making him Birthday cards, drawing King Charles III portraits and even making crowns.

In Literacy we have been talking about our own birthdays and what we were lucky enough to get. We used the sentence pattern 'I got a ...'   and we even read our own work back and recognised the finger spaces

Odd Socks Day

In Numeracy this week we ave been looking at crowns and counting in groups. We have been estimating the amounts of crowns and counting them to check our answers.

On  Friday we celebrated 'Children in Need'. All week we have been challenging ourselves to do 10 (because that is our

number of the week)  Pudsey jumps. Pudsey also set us a class challenge to form the letter 'p' for Pudsey.

We all thought it was funny that the letter'p' for Pudsey is also our letter sound of the week this week too!

Pudsey bear sent us a special envelope and challenged us to form the letter p for him.

The children enjoyed wearing our new Helpwr Heddiw badges this week.

Next week  20.11.23

We will be celebrating Autumn and looking at the story 'Leaf man'. We will be using natural objects to make Hedgehogs and Leafmen. We will be using conkers to develop our subtraction skills.

Have a lovely weekend !
