Our topic for this half term is Celebrations and this week King Charles III is celebrating his birthday. In Literacy we will be writing about a birthday party we have had or been to. We will be copying a picture of the King and writing a question about king Charles we would like to find the answer to, then using the internet to find the answer. In maths we will be using crowns to add 2 numbers and also to estimate and then count. We will also be cutting out crowns and sticking them in order of size. In the afternoon sessions we will be using playdough and jewels, making a birthday card for the king and making crowns out of sugar paper. In music we will listen to The national Anthem and sing Happy Birthday in different languages.

This week we will also be thinking about anti bullying and will be colouring odd socks.
