Welcome back, I hope you all had a terrific half term break. Here we are in the last half term of the school year, your last half term in Reception. This week we are hoping that the weather will be good on Friday and sports day will be able to go ahead. This week we will be writing about what we did over the break and thinking of things we would like to find out about our new topic "Under The Sea." In handwriting we will be focusing on spelling simple 3 letter words. In maths we will be picking up handfuls of sea creatures and estimating the amount and we will be solving some addition and subtraction sums. In music we are learning a song called "What can you see?" and in humanities we will be talking about pollution and ways to keep our planet clean. In the afternoon we will be making a display for the corridor, drawing weather pictures for our Welsh and French displays and children will be making their own magnetic fishing game.
