Welcome to Reception!

We are so excited to welcome you all back to school! We are looking forward to a year filled with fun!
Our Teaching staff in Reception includes:

Miss Evans for Class 1 and Mrs Fewtrell for Class 2.

Reading:

 Reading books will be changed on Mondays and Thursdays. Please return your child’s reading book and reading log each day in their book bag. Please aim to read with your child every day if you can (even if it's just one or two pages). The more you read, the better! When you have read with you child please note it in their reading log.

P.E

Our P.E days are Wednesday and Friday. Please send your children in to school in their P.E kit, they will stay in their kit all day therefore please send your child in appropriate clothing.

Please can you send your child in with a pair of pumps in a clearly labelled bag to be kept in school for our indoor P.E sessions.

Snack

We provide milk and water. Please send a clearly named bottle every Monday to be kept in school until Friday. They will be washed and refilled each day. Please send a healthy snack, vegetables or fruit in from home, preferably not a huge amount as it ends up wasted. Your child needs to carry this into school every day and place it in the snack box independently. Please use a reusable container which we will send home each day.

PLEASE label all items that come in to school including the container.
