Week 1

Week beginning 9.1.24

It has been lovely having the children back and hearing all about their Christmas break.

This week in Literacy we have been discussing and writing about the toys we got for Christmas and making Thank-You cards too!

In Numeracy this week we have been using the language of 'Longer' and 'Shorter' to compare different toys in our Toy Shop.

We have also used our Jigsaw time this week to talk about New Year's Resolutions and what we want to be better at in 2024.

Next week

Please can the children bring a teddy in to school on Monday. We will be using these to write about in our books. We will also be looking at the coins 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p and using these to pay for items in the Toy Shop.

We will be looking at the letter 'b' and number '16' in class too!
