This week Mr. Williams was away for a few days with the children from Year 5. In Class 1 the children were busy doing work about "Jack And The Beanstalk." They heard the story, ordered pictures and thought about rhyming words.  They also put a bean seed in a plastic bag to see how it grows and changes over time. In maths they were busy completing subtraction sums and measuring a beanstalk, using blocks. In music they listened to some harp music and in p.e. continued to practise Jac Y Do dance and played a game using directions N E S W. It is a special week because we are thinking about Comic Relief and we found out about the meaning of charity. At our school we celebrated World Book Day and the children and staff came dressed in costume. The children looked FANTASTIC.
