The children were very excited to have a workshop all about the Rainforest. We explored lots of animals that live there and even had an elephant hunt too.

This week we have been finding out why we celebrate St David's Day. We have been making some lovely daffodils, flags, dragons, cards and pictures to celebrate too.

We have been writing about St David in our books, and understanding that it is the little things that matter when we are being kind and helpful to each other.

We created a daffodil for our Art competition.

Making Daffodils

We looked at daffodils and they smelt very nice.

We made welsh dragons.

In Numeracy this week we have been ordering the days of the week in Welsh. We have then been using ordinal numbers to state which day is 1st, 2nd etc.  We have enjoyed learning lots of Welsh songs this week too.

We learnt the days of the week in welsh and wrote a sentence about our favourite day of the week in welsh.

In P.E this week we have carried on learning our Welsh Folk Dance as a class. We really enjoyed going on a Nature Walk around school to see how may daffodils we could find. We even stopped to feed the chickens and collect the eggs too.
