This week we will be finding out St. Valentine. We will be making a card for someone special. Our handwriting sound is sh and we will be using chalk to spell and draw words beginning or ending in sh. In maths we are going outside to find things taller or shorter than a metre ruler and will be practising doing addition sums in our challenge books. In music we will listen to some of the songs the children said are their favourites and in p.e. we are using the apparatus indoors and having races on the field (to remind us of the races the animals had to decide the order of Chinese New Year). In the afternoon we will be making sharks with moving tails. Our big book of the week is "Titch" and our Welsh book is "Yn Y Bocs."
