Finally, December is here! The children are full of stories of Elves, advent calendars and Christmas songs. This week as you already know has been about practicing our play. Thank you all for supporting your child with this by practicing their words and songs.
Our Maths has been about extending our knowledge of subtraction and using a range of strategies to help us.
In Literacy, we have been immersed in the story of ‘The Bear Snores On’. Earlier in the week we have been looking at how sentences are formed with the important capital letter and full stop. On Friday, to celebrate all our hard work, we went to Forest School and made dens for bears, popcorn and black tea, just like in the story!
Next week, we will be into final rehearsals before we see you all on the 12th December for our fabulous show. Until then, many thanks as always for your continued support.
