This week we will be listening to the story of "The Rainbow Fish." Then we will be acting out and re telling the story, as well as drawing a picture to go with it. In maths we will be sharing items (sharing between 2 to find half and sharing between 3 or 4 and introducing the division symbol). In science we will be looking at different types of fish that live in the sea and in P.E. we will move and dance like fish and play a chasing game where we grab the tails from the fish. In the afternoon sessions we are making friendship bracelets and doing rainbow fish collages using shiny paper. We will also be performing in the assembly at the end of the week, talking about things we remember doing in Reception and things we have learnt. We are also going to watch the Year 5 and 6 performance of The Wizard of Oz.
