This week is a special week at school as it is a Language, Literacy and Communication week and all classes will be studying the same book, "The Magic Paintbrush." We will be reading the story, thinking about rhyming words, making fans, doing addition sums when playing magnetic fishing and working on 1 or 2 more than a given number. In the afternoon we will make Chinese lanterns and use an App on the I Pad to draw a picture from the story. In P.E. we will be continuing to learn the Welsh folk dance Jac Y Do. In PSE we will talk about the meaning of being greedy. Our letter of the week is j/J and our Welsh book is "Pysgodyn i De." We will also be learning a Welsh song "Pwy Wnaeth Y Pysgod Chwim?" We are very lucky to be having a visit from an author this week too. Toni Wolstenholme is coming to talk to us about her book "Bertie And The Breakfast Treat."
