This week our Welsh phrases are "Bore da" and "Prynhawn da" (Good morning and good afternoon). We are learning about the characters from The Oxford Reading Tree books (Biff, Chip, Kipper, Floppy mum and dad). Our letter of the week is m. In Literacy we will be matching pictures of the characters to their names and also using paper plates to make faces and talk about facial features. In maths our number of the week is 2. We will be counting the number of Oxford reading Tree characters in pictures and matching them to the correct number. We will be discussing families and singing "heads, shoulders, knees and toes!." We will also be learning a Welsh prayer to sing at home time.
