Let's celebrate Kindness!

This week the children have been exploring subtraction using harry Hedgehog and Sammy Squirrel. They were very good at counting how many pine cones Sammy Squirrel stole and also how many Harry Hedgehog had left.

In Literacy this week we have been writing some lovely poems. We have been going outside and collected lots of leaves that were lovely colours. We then used them to make some hedgehogs and squirrels and also we did some leaf printing too.

In P.E this week we listened to some music and we danced like leaves.

We are beginning to learn our Christmas songs and we are all getting a bit excited. We are understanding why we celebrate Christmas and why it is important to us.

Next week Beginning 27.11.23

Next week it is our class assembly. Please see the song above that the children will be singing.

It would be great if they could practise this at home, they love it!

We will also be understanding about animals in the autumn and what hibernation and migration is.
