Class 3
This week we have been inspired by the book ‘Dear dinosaur’ and have been writing to a museum asking questions about our favourite dinosaurs and what we would like to find out about them
In number, we have been exploring odd and even numbers. We have practised the patterns and now are absolutely sure we can tell if ANY number is odd or even. We have been using really, really big numbers like 5638764 and 98726543. Can you tell which one is odd and which one is even?
Carrying on our research into dinosaurs we have also been discovering how special Mary Anning was as a dinosaur hunter, fossil finder and scientist. We have also found out that the tongue twister ‘She sells seashells’ is about her work.
We have also been practising for Sports Day. So you might like to get some practising in at home, just in case there is an adults race!
Next week we will be writing some dinosaur poems and making our own fossils with clay.
