What are we learning this week?
What another fantastic week we have had in Year 2! This week we have lots of fun activities planned. This week we are going to be introducing Mathshed and going over Edshed so that all pupils are able to access this at home.
In Literacy we will be reading the story of 'The Zoo Vet'. After listening to the story the children will be set the challenge to re-tell the story in their own words. We have really enjoyed looking at lots of different animals and have made a beautiful display with our drawings.
In Math's this week we will be exploring place value all the way up to the hundreds! We have been super impressed with the children's number skills over the last few weeks!
In PE we are going to revise the PESS Gymnastics shapes and work in pairs to create a sequence.
In Collective Worship and Health and Well-being we have been talking about our worries and how 'a worry shared is a worry halved'. We have been discussing the importance of talking about our worries and how it is normal for us to have these feelings, even adults too!
What a jam packed week! We can't wait to see all of their wonderful creations!
