We hope you have had a fantastic half term enjoying Halloween and Bonfire Night!
This week we are learning all about Remembrance Day! In literacy we will be writing acrostic poems and talking about our own special memories. Can you talk about these at home ready for school? We will be looking at the purple poppy and how we also remember the animals of war.
In Maths we will be looking at odd and even numbers all the way to 100 and beyond! We will be counting in 2's and 5's to create some beautiful poppy wreath crafts.
In Topic we will be getting creative by making observational sketches of a poppy and looking at the inside of a flower. We have set lots of challenges this week based on Remembrance Day and Bonfire night so look out for lots of artistic creations and creative thinking.
