What another fabulous week we have all had! We have really enjoyed exploring Wales and have shared with each other places in Wales we have visited, plotting some of these beautiful places on a map. We have talked about our identity and the countries and cultures we belong to and have experiences. We have enjoyed talking about what makes us feel proud and have been talking about what peace is and linked this to the story of Saint David as a dove followed him wherever he went. We have really enjoyed listening to and learning the Welsh National anthem in school too.
We also enjoyed following instructions to make scrummy Welsh cakes and enjoyed eating them too! We have loved making our own love spoons using junk modelling and playdoh.
In maths we have been continuing our work on time (o'clock and half past) and have been exploring season, months of the year and days of the week too! We have of course been learning some of these in Welsh too!
In Collective Worship we have enjoyed the story of Daniel and the Lions and we have recapped Lent too. In health and well-being we have talked about what foods keep us super healthy! We have absolutely loved our work on dodgeball too!
