What we learning about this week - 27.11.23
We have loved reading the story of ‘The Rainbow Bear’ and completing lots of fun activities around the story. During the story, the rainbow bear finds himself trapped in a cage in a zoo which makes him very sad. This week we will be debating reasons for and against zoos. What do you think, is it cruel to keep animals in captivity or do you think it helps animals, particularly animals in danger? We will also be looking at animals and their habitats and completing a range of sorting activities.
In Literacy we are learning how to correctly punctuate our sentences using question/exclamation marks and full stops. We will also be writing our letters to Father Christmas and posting them, so have a little think about what you would like to ask for Christmas. We would like you to think about something that you want, you need, you can wear and read.
In Math's this week we will be looking at block graphs and tally charts and completing a range of problem solving activities.
