This week we are researching and writing facts about france (the country we will be representing at this week's school Olympic games on Thursday). We will make a French flag too. In maths we are doing some measuring. We will use playdough worms to measure things in class that are longer than the worm and things that are shorter. On the yard we are going to draw a life size blue whale and use a trundle wheel to measure. In music we will listen to the French national Anthem. In the afternoon sessions we are going to make French bunting, use paper straws to make a picture of the Eiffel Tower and make a medal for the olympics. On Friday we will try some garlic bread.
Please remember to come to school on Thursday dressed in the colours of the French flag. (Blue, white and red).
MERCI.
