This week we are learning about snails. We will be going on a snail hunt and drawing and writing about snails. We will also be writing similes e.g. as small as a ...as tall as a ...etc. Our sound of the week is ch. In maths we are measuring beanstalks and planting the beanstalks we took home, in the garden at school. Our big book of the week is The Snail On The Whale and our Welsh book is Rydym Ni'n Wahanol. We are also learning a new Welsh song about planting a seed in the soil and a song in English about A Tiny Caterpillar On A Leaf. In p.e. we will be practising for sports day. It's only a 4 day week but it's going to be a busy one. Please can I remind parents to apply sun cream to children before they come to school and to send a cap/hat each day. Please can you write your child's name on the cap/hat. Diolch.
