Year 6 stepped back in time this week with a visit to the Stockport Air Raid Shelters! As part of our “Conflict” topic, the children experienced what it might have been like to live through the Blitz, exploring the tunnels and discovering how people stayed safe during World War II. The trip helped us understand the realities of wartime life and made history feel truly real!
