Santes Dwynwen Day

Santes Dwynwen is the Welsh patron saint of love and her special day is celebrated on 25th January. In Class 1 we lisytened to the story of Santes Dwynwen, we designed Welsh love spoons and looked on line to see how they are made. We made cards saying "Dw i'n caru ti" (I love you) and we listened to a song called "Rwy'n Dy Garu Di." We made Welsh cakes too. Diolch Miss. C. They were BLASUS IAWN (Delicious).
