As you will realise from the recent weather reports, we are expecting more snow. We need to prepare therefore for the eventuality of having to close the school and would like to take this opportunity to remind you of what to expect if this happens.
The decision to close is not taken lightly. All possible efforts are made to keep the school open.
From 7.30am (This will be earlier if possible for those attending Morning Club)
- You will be contacted via SchoolComms, advising you of closure.
- Flintshire County Council will have been contacted and details of school closures can be found on www. Flintshire.gov.uk. This site will have Emergency School Closure Alerts’ section at the top of the page. Information can also be found on our school website.
- BBC Radio Wales and Heart FM will have also been contacted, so you could listen out for announcements on these stations
- A message will be left on the school website www.ewloegreen.co.uk·

In the event of School being closed there will be home learning available on Google Classrooms for your child.
Please note that school will be open unless you are notified differently. We will not notify you if school is open.
