I hope you had a great bank holiday weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. This week we are continuing our work on minibeasts. In literacy we will be writing about the minibeast we would like to be and saying why and we will be going out on to the junior yard and field to look for minibeasts. In maths we will be adding minibeasts and will be completing a block graph showing the number of each minibeast we find. In music we will continue practising "Tiny Caterpillar On a Leaf" and in Welsh we will start to learn a new song about a pry copyn (spider). In p.e. there ill be more practice for sports day races. In humanities we will be finding out about insects from other parts of the world. Our sound of the week is "th" and our big book is "Minibeast Encyclopedia." On Wednesday we have a special treat. M and M Productions are coming into school to perform "The Little Princess." Although it's only a 4 day week it's going to be a busy and exciting one.
