Our African week in School.
To end our wonderful Africa week in school we had a lovely presentation by our guest speaker. He told us all about his lovely family in Ghana.
We made masks and Uganda flags for our sponsored walk around school.
We had lots of fun on our sponsored walk.
We have been using the language of 'Shortest' and 'Longest' to order the African snakes.
Wen have been using our technology skills to collect data. We picked 10 different colours from a box and recorded how many we got to see which one was the most picked. We did this in Welsh too!
We went outside to write lots of words with the sound sh in them.
This week we wanted to find out what was taller and shorter than 1 metre.

The children have been making Welsh cakes to celebrate Santes Dwynwen.
This week our teddies have been invited into school we are so excited!!
We took them outside to show them how we learn in school. We even sang to them too!
We wanted to find out which Teddy was the tallest. We all wanted to use a tape measure to measure their height. We learnt that we use centimetres to measure but can write cm when we record measurements.
We have been using coins to pay for items in our Toy Shop.
