Summer 3.2

A Huge Thank You for your generosity. The gifts and cards you sent us were extremely kind.

It has been a pleasure having your children with us this year. They are all wonderful, kind and very caring. We wish you all a wonderful summer break and can’t wait to see the children back in September telling us all their lovely news!!

Under the Sea

This week we have been exploring ‘HALF’ and looking at half of an object and shapes and also half turns too!

Fun with Beebot

Fun in the sun ☀️

We used lots of different objects to describe how are bodies move in different ways.

Exploring floating and sinking. We built a boat and estimated how many stones it would take before it sank. We then looked at lots of different objects and materials to predict which ones would sink.

How many body parts can we name?

We have been having a money hunt in our Forest School area and finished off with a game of Hide n Seek. Fun in the sun!☀️

The children have been busy exploring money and buying lots of ice-creams this week. They have used their numeracy skills well to add coins together to pay for items in the 'Ice Cream Shop'.

The children have been finding out lots of different facts about their favourite sea creatures.

We have been estimating and checking our answers when we tried to catch lots of different sea creatures.
