This week is the second week of our Literacy Focus and we will be doing more work on "The Magic Paintbrush." This week we will write a short review of the book. Our handwriting letter is v/V. In maths we are working on one less than and ordering numbers back from 10/20 to 0. In science we will learn about some of the sea creatures mentioned in the book and in music we will listen to some music from the country where the book is set (China) and we will continue to practice 2 hymns, Pwy Wnaeth Y Pysgod Chwim and If I Were A Butterfly. In P.E. we will continue to practise our Welsh country dance. This week is parents' evening and I am looking forward to speaking to parents about the progress children have made so far in Reception.
