Task 1 - Choose an item in the house and think about what they might be cross about.
Bed – does he get annoyed at being lied on?
Light – does it not like it when she is left on in the daytime?
Old teddy – Is it sad that you don’t cuddle it anymore?
Extension - Can you write a letter to someone complaining? It could be your bed, your TV, your ipad, or even your toothbrush!
Remember to include:
- Full sentences
- Punctuation (full stops, capital letters, question marks, exclamation marks)
Task 2 - Can you put the different coins in a bag.
Describe how it feels. How many sides? What shape is it?
Have a little peek - what colour is it?
Can the person you are describing it to guess which coin it is?
Extension - Could you describe the coin in other ways?
How many pennies add up to make this coin? How many 5ps?
Task 3 - Our sound of the day is ‘ew’. – Chew the Stew.
Can you make a bowl of yummy paper stew?
On each piece of food (Carrots, peas, meat), can you add a word with the ‘ew’ sound?
