Always Aiming High – Anelu’n Uchel O Hyd

Wednesday 6th May

Bore da, ola, Konichiwa, bonjour, guten tag. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

I hope you are feeling full of energy and ready to do some fantastic work.

Draw a plant from your house or garden and write a description of it. Then try to find out what it’s called and search on line to find out all about it. How big does it grow? How often does it need water? Does it like sunny places or the shade?

Do you know the months of the year? Can you say them in the right order? Now can you write them in the correct order AND spell them all correctly too? Today, write the months of the year in the correct order and then count all the letters. What is the total number of letters in the 12 months? To get the answer right you will have to make sure you have spelt each month correctly. They are tricky to spell so you could use a diary, calendar or look on line. Count carefully because it is really easy to make a mistake when you are counting to a high number.

Our sounds are

oo (poo at the zoo) and ew (chew the stew)

Task: Make a bowl of “paper stew”

Get a piece of paper or card and see if you can make a bowl.  You might need scissors, glue or sticky tape. Draw a colourful design on your bowl. Then, on small pieces of paper, write words with oo and ew. Write one word on each piece of paper and then put them in the bowl. You have made a bowl of oo and ew stew. How many words can you think of? If you think of 8 you are clever, if you think of 10 you are amazing and if you think of more than 10........

                          YOU ARE A GENIUS.

Good luck. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
