Our topic this half term is 'Voyages of Discovery'.

On Monday this week, you were asked to complete a comprehension on Christopher Columbus.

Your task today is to research and collect facts about him in preparation for writing a Biography tomorrow.

You could research facts like:

• Date and place of birth
• Date, place and how he died
• Family life / Growing up
• Key events in his life
• Major achievements / accomplishments
• Interesting facts

Make rough notes in your draft book in preparation for your presentation task (biography) tomorrow. I will share more information specifically about biographies tomorrow.
