Epic - an online library of books, videos and audio books. Please download the app then email your class teacher so we can send you an invite to gain free access until 30th June.
Teach your monster to read - at time of writing is free of charge. Allows children to create their own avatar and supports reading development.
ChatterKid - an app which we have used earlier this year, allows children to take a photo of an inanimate object and make it ‘talk’.
Pic Collage - allows children to take photos and insert into one collage. Also can add text, stickers etc.
Book Creator - children have used this earlier this half term. Children can add images, text and sound to make multimedia pages.
Joy Doodle - an app allows children to draw/mark make and watch back their drawing as it is created in real time.
Cursive Writing Wizard Starter - practice letter formation in the cursive style that we have adopted in school this year. Please note that this is a paid app, although you can access some letters and patterns for free (choose the UK version). If you do want to purchase, we would recommend the ‘all letters and numbers’ option, as the word option results in the letters being joined which is too advanced for this age group.
