Yesterday, Eira emailed Miss Hughes with a fantastic healthy recipe which she has given me permission to share with you all! Maybe you might like to give it a try. Thanks Eira!

Eira's Banana Bread Recipe

A note from Eira:

Makes 12 portions.

1 3/4 cup spelt flour (or any flour available)
3 riped bananas
1/3 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup almond milk (real milk is fine)
1/2 cup coconut sugar (use any sugar you have!)
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder

Task 1 - Looking at the different food groups from yesterday, can you design a healthy meal for your family? Maybe you could make that meal together?

 

Extension - Can you write a menu for your special meal?

Task 2 - Can you build a house for your Supertato? How wide does it need to be? How tall? Can you measure it in cm?

 

Extension task - Can you draw a design of your Supertato house and label it with the length and height?

Task 3 - Our sound of the day is ‘ou’. – Shout it out!

 

Can you create a 'shouty' monster? Create some speech bubbles for your monster and write words that have the ‘ou’ sound. Can you make your monster shout out these words?
