Hi everyone. We hope you enjoyed completing your Sports Day events yesterday. Thanks to those of you who sent your results to us. If you haven't already done so, please complete as many events as you can, complete the recording sheet and send a photo to us as soon as possible. We need these results for your work on Thursday.

Also, please ensure you are completing your food diary daily this week.

Today is your Forest School day. We have attached numerous Forest School activities below for you to choose from. You do not need to complete all of these. Find the ones that interest you the most. Feel free to send photos of you completing your chosen Forest School activities.

You may wish to complete the leaf/flower/bird/minibeast hunt activities whilst completing your daily mile walk.

Stick Man (Julia Donaldson) Activity

You may also wish to complete an activity based around Julia Donaldson's Book - Stick Man.

  1.  Read / Watch the Stick Man (BBC iPlayer)
  2.  Plan to make your own Stick Man family
  3.  On your Daily Mile walk, collect some sticks
  4.  Make your own Stick Man family (If you wish to challenge yourself, why not measure your Stick Family characters accurately? See Below)

Challenge -

  • Measure the height of each of your family members
  • Make your Stick Family 1/10 (1 tenth) of the size

Example -

Dad = 180cm (180 divided by 10 = 18) Stick Dad = 18cm

Mum = 160cm (160 divided by 10 = 16) Stick Mum = 16cm

Brother/Sister = 100 cm (100 divided by 10 = 10) Stick Brother/Sister = 10cm
