Class 3 - mrs.lincoln-jones@ewloegreencps.co.uk
Class 4 - miss.hughes@ewloegreencps.co.uk
This week we have decided to do something a little bit different. Instead of a Welsh song, we are going to learn a Welsh story! If you would like to read the story for our Year group video, please send your teacher a video of you reading the book by FRIDAY LUNCHTIME - diolch!
Please note the word 'y' is pronounced as 'uh'.
We look forward to hearing your super Welsh!
Are you feeling creative?
Task 1 - We would like you to use your brilliant imaginations and create a game that incorporates different Welsh landmarks. It could be a board game, it could be practical - We love how imaginative you can be!
Extension - Can you write instructions on how to play your game? |
Task 2 - Can you create a clock with a Welsh theme? You will be using this throughout the rest of the week! Try to make sure that the hands are able to move. You could use split pins, or a paperclip, or just lay the hands on the top.
Extension - What does each hand mean? Why are they different sizes?
Our sounds of the day are ‘igh’ (Fly high) and ‘i-e’ (Nice smile).
Task 3 – How many different words can you find in your reading book with these sounds? Can you write a list?
