Bore da plant. We hope you are enjoying Welsh week. You are doing really really well. We have been really impressed with the work you have sent us. Da iawn. πππ
Heddiw (today)
Phonics and handwriting
Here is The Queen. Look at the first two letters qu. Your work today is to write as many words as you can that contain qu. This is tricky and you might need to look in a dictionary or on line. How many can you find???????? Write them down and see if you can draw some pictures to go with your list of words.
A joke from Mr. Williams :
Why did Donald Duck go to the dentist?
Because he QUACKED his tooth. Hahahahhahahaha. HILARIOUS ππππ
Literacy
Do you remember the Welsh song/rhyme about two little dogs going to the woods? They are wearing new shoes but when they come back they have lost one of their shoes. It’s called Dau Gi Bach. If you can’t remember it you can search on line or listen to the clip of Mr.Williams singing it below. We want you to rewrite the song, by changing the animal and if you can by changing what they are wearing and on which part of their body. So instead of dogs with shoes on their feet you could make the song about 2 little pigs and they are wearing socks on their nose. BUT YOU HAVE TO SING IT IN WELSH. πππππAgain you might need to use your fantastic computer skills to find Welsh words.
Numeracy
In the Welsh story this week there is a flamingo. Flamingos are really really good at standing on one leg. We want you to stand on one leg and count IN WELSH how long you can stay like that. Send us a photo, a film or an e mail telling us how long and PAID A TWYLLO (that means don’t cheat!!!!!!!) Pob lwc (good luck).
