Language
Today in your language work we would like you to practise our letter of the week. Our letter of the week is rhino r.
Have a look at the video below and think about what type of letter is it? Is it a tall letter like our bird b and our lion l that reaches the top line? Is it a long letter like our yak y or our jellyfish j that goes below the line? Or is one of our short letters like unicorn u and iggy i?
Have a go at practising writing rhino r. This could be simply on some lined paper or feel free to practise with chalk (or anything else you can think of!).

Numeracy
Yesterday, you went on a scavenger hunt and added the three objects together. Today can you complete the following additions. Please use anything you like to help you count and complete the sums (pasta, beads, etc.)
2 + 2 + 1 =
3 + 3 + 2 =
5 + 2 + 2 =
5 + 4 + 3 =
2 + 7 + 5 =
8 + 4 + 3 =
9 + 6 + 2 =
Remember a good way to solve these sums is to add the first two numbers together and then add the third number.
For example, 3 + 2 + 1 =
First do 3 + 2 = 5
Then remember 5.
Then do 5 + 1 to get your answer
