Always Aiming High – Anelu’n Uchel O Hyd

Term 1b

w.b. 29.11.17. We have been learning all about elephants this week (in particular the colourful elephant Elmer). Here we are developing our 'circus skills', using our hands and feet to make our ball do lots of different tricks!

24.11.17 Here are class 2 taking part in their assembly on 'Being Thankful'. Miss Roberts was so proud of us all; we took it in turns to come to the front and tell everyone what we were thankful for and why. Here are the beautiful drawings that we did to show everyone. (Miss Roberts is very sorry that there are only a few photos of the actual assembly - the iPad stopped working!)

w.b. 20.11.17 We had a special visitor this week - Sister Ann (aka Miss Roberts' mummy!) She came in to tell us all about working in a hospital. She showed us some special hospital tools and explained what they are used for. We also learnt about what doctors and nurses use to keep germs away, and also that some things can be dangerous and hurt us - they are only to be touched by grown ups. We then had a chance to use some of her things in our role play area - some of us had so many bandages on that we looked a bit like mummies!

w.b 6.11.17 We have been learning all about fireworks this week. We have been making rockets with lots of different things and made our very own firework dance. We have been learning about Guy Fawkes. We have also enjoyed using our new 'post office'!
