What an amazing day we have had! We are so lucky and this time of year it is especially important that we are thankful for all the wonderful opportunities, people and things in our lives.

This afternoon we had a chat about some of the things that we are thankful for and this is what some of the children said. How beautiful are our children!  ❤️

Today we had a visit from some very special puppets and they told us all about the Christmas story! We loved singing and dancing along!

Entrepreneurial Week!

Last week we all had a think about what we would like to make during this week. The children thought about what they would like to buy and used this to help them make their decisions.
This week we have began to make our exciting products to sell on Friday.

We are making: Reindeer Poop,  Hot Chocolate Reindeers and Christmas Tree Pine Cones!

We hope you will come along and join us after school on Friday to buy some of our goodies!

This week we have been looking at animals that come out at night and learnt that we call these animals nocturnal animals. One animal in particular was a hedgehog - draenog.

In the creative area we have thought about what we can use to make the draenog look spikey. We used foil, sticks, pegs, and forks. We all think they look bendigedig!

It has been such a lovely day dressing up in support of Children in Need. The children looked amazing as always and we were so lucky to have the most amazing visitor...Pudsey!

We have raised a wonderful amount. A big DIOLCH to you all for your wonderful support.

Today we had lots of fun in P.E pretending to be rockets and blasting off into space. We thought about jumping and landing safetly as well as thinking about different ways we can move. When we landed on the moon we had lots of fun moving super slowly in our space boots.

7/11/19

We have had a super treat today! We were visited by some pirates! The Pirates of the Chillibean! They taught us how to be safe around food!

What an exciting start to our new topic we have had. We have loved seeing all of your amazing Guy Fawkes puppets and using them to help us to learn the story of Guy Fawkes. Mrs L-J has loved hearing about all the lovely fireworks you have seen this week too!

As well as this we have looked at lots of maps and loved finding out which country we live in. We have also enjoyed looking at other countries around the world and we found out that they use fireworks to celebrate different festivals too.

One festival we have focused on is Diwali. We were super lucky to taste mango lassi which is something drank during this festival. Some of us thought it was very yummy and some of us thought it was a little yucky!
