06.07.20- To identify and measure angles.
This week's maths activities will be all about angles.
Today I am setting 3 activities, but don't worry each activity should be fairly quick. Please try each of them.
Activity 1- Acute or Obtuse- Read the descriptions of the angles on the left hand page. Then label each of the angles on the right hand page with acute, obtuse or right angle.
Activity 2- Ordering angles- For this activity there are 3 levels of difficulty. Choose one. You must then put each of the angles in size order. For example the first question on the first page. Angle B is the smallest, then angle C, then angle A.
SO the answer is BCA
Activity 3- Measure 1 & 2- For these activities you must state the size of each angle using the protractor in the picture. Remember when you are reading the scales that acute angles are less than 90 degrees, and obtuse angles are more than 90 degrees.
