Always Aiming High – Anelu’n Uchel O Hyd

Monday, 30th March

Bore da pawb!
How was your weekend? Well, we are now into week 2 of homeschooling. We hope you are trying hard and having a go at the work we have set but most important of all, we hope you are enjoying the time you are having with your family.

Don’t forget Joe’s workout at 9a.m. Mrs McLellan will be at home following Joe’s routine and will probably need her cup of tea afterwards!! 😁

At 11 a.m. you can relax and listen to  David Walliams who will be reading another of his ‘World’s Worst Children’ stories.

You will see your new spellings on Spellodrome.

  1. Copy your new list into your spelling book.
  2. Draw 4 lines down the page in your home/school book.
  3. Write your list in the first column and then practise with the look, cover, write and check method.
  4. Use the program to practise your spellings.

Handwriting - capital M

Copy the card into your home/school book.

Good morning everyone and I hope you’re staying safe. As you can see below I have attached a picture of your work today which is arrays. I would like you to show the two times tables from 1×2 all the way up to 12x2 using arrays. How you show this it is up to you, you can simply draw them in your book or you can use different methods just like the one I have shown you, where I used bits of cereal. Try being adventurous and thinking outside the box, is there anything outside you can use, is there any other things around the house you could use (with parents permission of course). Once you have come up with your idea and make your arrays, please take a picture and show us some of your great ideas. The video below also shows how to work out arrays with a message from Mr Swede.

Follow the step by step instructions to create a butterfly.

A little extra!
Don’t forget to keep writing a few sentences about what you are doing each day. Your diary will be interesting when you read it back in a few years time! 😊
