Always Aiming High – Anelu’n Uchel O Hyd

Monday 27th April

After your super efforts last week with 'Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau', we have a new Welsh challenge!

Some parents said that they were only able to download Selog 2 so this weeks song is on that app.

Please could you download Selog 2 (again it is a free App), and practise the song - Clap Clap 123.

Please send the clip to your teacher by Friday lunch time so that we can create another super video!

Troi / throi  = turn

Ein               = our

Dwylo           = hands

Cwtsh           = hug

Sws            = kiss

This week we are focusing on the story -

'The Day the Crayons Quit!'

Mrs Lincoln-Jones and Miss Hughes love this story and we are sure you will too!

If you haven't read the story there is a link to the story being read online below.

The Day the Crayons Quit.

Task 1 - Have a look at the letters in the document below from the different crayons. Choose your favourite and use it to help you answer the questions below:

1) How had Duncan used this crayon?

2) How does this make the crayon feel?

3) What does the crayon want Duncan to do?

4) How does the crayon try to persuade Duncan to use the crayon differently?

5) What could you do to make the crayon happy?

Extension - Can you ask a question of your own for your Parents or brothers and sisters to answer?
Task 2 - Can you complete the colour block chart?
You could go on an indoor or outdoor adventure to find some of the colours you choose.

Extension - Can you write which was the most popular colour and least popular?
Our sound of the day is ‘aw’. – ‘Yawn at dawn!’

Task 3 -  Can you draw a picture of yourself yawning? Make a list of all the things that make you yawn around your picture!
