Always Aiming High – Anelu’n Uchel O Hyd

Monday 20th April

We hope you all had a brilliant Easter, had some well earned rest and had lots of fun during the Easter break! Who is excited to get started on their daily tasks this week?!

See your first 3 activities for this week, below...

Any issues, please email:

Class 3 - mrs.lincoln-jones@ewloegreencps.co.uk

Class 4 - miss.hughes@ewloegreencps.co.uk

This week please could you download the free APP - Selog. This app has some wonderful welsh songs, some that the children will know already!
We will focus on a new song each week! Please film/record the children singing the song along with the app on Friday so we can create a special Year 1 video each week!
It would be wonderful to have as many children joining in as we can!

This weeks song is - Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau!

Task 1 -

Can you read your favourite book whilst someone from your family records you?

Extension - Can someone in your family interview you and ask you questions about your favourite book? Can you answer the questions fully?

Task 2 -

Can you complete the 100 square? What number does a 100 square start on? Focus carefully about where to place the numbers.

Extension - Can you sequence numbers beyond 100? How far can you go?

(See resources below - feel free to create your own)

Task 3 -

Our sound of the day is ‘a-e’. – Make a cake.

Can you think of simple CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words and then add the magic ‘e’ on the end to make the letter ‘a’ say its name instead of its sound.

Eg.        Mat   -->   mate

          cap    -->   cape

          dat    -->   date
