Always Aiming High – Anelu’n Uchel O Hyd

Monday 11th May

We are loving receiving your Welsh singing videos, they are fantastic!

This weeks song is Cywioci - Teimladau (Cyw's feelings song)-
The children are very familiar with this song and love to sing it in school!

Please send the clip to your teacher by FRIDAY  lunch time so that we can create another super video!

Please note there has been a couple of issues receiving videos due to the file size being too large, in this case, you may prefer to use WeTransfer or share your file via Google Drive.

Cywioci - Teimladau (Cyw's feelings song)

Task 1 - Can you write your lower-case letters in pencil and then use different coloured pencils to write the capital letters to match them? Do you know all your capital letters?

Extension - Can you cut your letters out into little cards and have a game of matching pairs? Turn the cards face down and when you turn over the matching uppercase and lowercase letter, you win the cards. Who will have the most cards at the end?

Task 2-

Can you show someone a full turn? (face someone, turn around and face them again)

Can you show someone a half turn? (face someone, turn half way around and you will be facing away from them)

Can you learn your left and right? Which hand is your left hand? (one you can make a capital L shape with)

Extension - Can you create your own direction mat with a forward arrow, backward arrow, left arrow and right arrow? How quick can you step? Someone could shout out LEFT and you have to step on the left arrow and so on.

Task 3 - Our sound of the day is ‘ire’. – Fire! Fire!

How many ‘ire’ words can you make from the letters below?

d / h / f / m / w / s / t   (You can use the sound ire as many times as your like!)

Wonderful work from today!
