HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Lets spread some love, say goodbye to the old and ring in the new.
Your task today is to make some new year promises. What could you do this year to show kindness to others?
Maybe you could donate some of your outgrown clothes to charity, volunteer to help an elderly neighbour with some gardening, take supplies to an animal shelter, write a thank you letter to someone serving in the armed forces or give food to a local food bank… the possibilities are endless!
You could make a ‘Random Acts of Kindness Jar’. On strips of paper write down as many ‘acts of kindness’ you can think of and put them all in a jar. Each month take out one of your ideas and do it!
Numeracy
Excellent work yesterday everybody! Today We would like you to draw around everyone's hands in your house?
Can you put them in order of ‘smallest’ to ‘biggest’? Can you label who’s hands they are?
Challenge
Can you colour them in and make a collage/picture with them? Could you make a nice pattern on the hands?
Send them to us and we will share them all on Friday’s Home Learning page.
Phonics
How many objects can you find around your home that begin with the sound ‘k’ ?
Can you draw these or get a grown up to take a photo of what you found?
We would love to see what you have found.
