Monday 27th/Tuesday 28th April-Complete the word mat using the vocabulary box for different synonyms (different words with the same meaning ie massive/gigantic,small /little).Then create a playscript of a conversation between the giant's foot (whoever it is) and the person in the picture.Log into google classroom and have a look at other children's work if you're stuck!

Eisteddfod winners!Evie won 1st place for handwriting and Jack was first for his recreation of Castell Coch by Rhiannon Roberts.A brilliant effort by all.What a talented bunch😀

Entrepreneurial Week!What a fantastic week!The children voted for slime so Xmas slime we made.The children also voted for start shaped biscuits.We had great fun cooking and mixing,perfecting our produce and I was delighted with the outcome.We were sold out by 3.17pm!!!Fantastic effort class 12,great teamwork. 


Hi all.Hope your are having a lovely weekend. Entreprenurial Week is upon us!The children have voted.What we're making is top secret!laugh{Please could you provide your child with a medium sized plastic mixing bowl.If anyone will let us borrow their weighing scales again that would be great. Diolch. More pictures to follow......

Building electrical circuits.We made them light up and buzz! We also made Victorian scones!!! I have a class full of top notch bakers and am considering applying to the 'Bake off' next year!!

Huge thanks to all who came to the Indian Festival night.The children sang for the first time on a big stage and did brilliantly!We were very proudsmiley


There was no literacy homework this week other than to learn the Jai Ho lyrics and Spellodrome.Back to normal next week!

A few reminders for the year:



Our P.E. Days are Tuesday and Friday. Please come to school in your P.E. Kits on Tuesday, and bring them in a bag on Friday.


Forest School

Our forest school sessions will be every other Wednesday (dates to be confirmed).



Literacy homework will be given on Tuesdays to be handed in on Thursdays.


Maths homework will be given on Fridays to be handed in on Mondays.



We are continuing to use Spellodrome this year. Your login details are glued inside your homework log. Please aim to use the programme for 10 minutes each day. You will receive 1 merit for 1000 points and 2 merits for over 4000 points.


Multiplication tables

Keep practising your tables each week. Remember to make it fun ~ use TT Rockstars to help you! Your login details are glued inside your homework log. You will have regular check up tests.



Bring  your reading book into school each day with your homework log. Your reading target this half term is to read at home at least 3 times a week. You will receive 1 merit if you have read 3 times during the week and you have had your homework log signed.
