Star of the Week
We are delighted to report that Lucy is our star of the week for the second time! Lucy is always so kind to her friends, always offering her helping hand! She is always brightening up our classroom with her fabulous smile and gives her best in all she does. Lucy always reads at home and goes on Spellodrome so much, always learning her spellings!
Well done Lucy!
This week we have been combining science with P.E and used equipment to create an electrical circuit. We have explored what can make a bulb brighter and dimmer and what we need to ensure our circuit remains strong!
In literacy we have been writing our Christmas news, remembering how to structure sentences correctly. In R.E we have been reading all about Epiphany and finding the answers to questions. We have also been sharing our New Year's Resolutions with each other, thinking about ways we can make our lives even happier and healthy!
We have been using the BeeBot to create a journey linking in our work on multiplication and division. Our construction challenge was to build a track and drive a BeeBot car down a track to get the the finish line. We have also used the IPads to explore the BeeBot app and have been focusing on quarter/left and right turns with Mrs Jones.
In Welsh we have been exploring the Weather and the days of the week in preparation for our weekend homework. The attachments below will help you with your homework over the weekend.
